Last week I mentioned that I had recorded a conversation with my older sister, fiber artist June Mears Driedger, but that the technology was all askew.  Thanks to the help of my friend Jim, we were able to salvage it.  During the interview, June starts discussing what she is currently working on...a series dedicated to her recent hysterectomy.  I was deeply moved by it and I believe you will be, too.

I'm off on my vacation.  When I get back I'll share with you my sewing marathon to create a mini-wardrobe for the trip.

I've had a really bad sewing day.  My border print skirt (which you can see at my blog http://grandmassewingcabinet.blogspot.com) emphasizes my "hip fluff" with the result that I look like I should be out yodeling somewhere.  This week's podcast describes my really bad sewing day.
