Sun, 25 June 2006 Last week I mentioned that I had recorded a conversation with my older
sister, fiber artist June Mears Driedger, but that the technology was
all askew. Thanks to the help of my friend Jim, we were able to
salvage it. During the interview, June starts discussing what she is
currently working on...a series dedicated to her recent hysterectomy.
I was deeply moved by it and I believe you will be, too. I'm off on my vacation. When I get back I'll share with you my sewing marathon to create a mini-wardrobe for the trip. Sun, 18 June 2006 I recorded a great interview with my older sister who, in addition to being an ordained minister, is a fiber artist. The technology gods don't want me to interview any of my siblings, apparently, because the recording was all messed up. *sigh* So, today's podcast simply is about me making a mock-neck sleeveless top and trying to get away without making the full bust adjustment. Listen to find out how it worked out... Comments[0] |
Sun, 11 June 2006 I've had a really bad sewing day. My border print skirt (which you can see at my blog http://grandmassewingcabinet.blogspot.com) emphasizes my "hip fluff" with the result that I look like I should be out yodeling somewhere. This week's podcast describes my really bad sewing day. I'm also facilitating a Virtual Sewing Retreat: My Stash Is A Reflection of Me.
